Roofing Geometry

I am new to this forum, I live in Ireland. I am interested in roofing geometry. I have been to the European Carpentry Competition in Stuttgart and World Skills competitions in Leipzig. I know that France has a very strong team in Skills competitions.

I am interested in learning more about the techniques young French carpenters use to solve Carpentry problems.
I hope that someone will reply to my post.
